Vets in the Arts is seeking sponsors for the Full Production of the original musical “Standard Issue”coming to the Marion Cultural & Civic Center June 6-8, 2025! This Army-themed musical is written and directed by local Southern Illinois Veterans and will be the first full-scale original musical performed in Southern Illinois!!

Up to this point in the project, Vets in the Arts has worked diligently in applying to local, state, and federal grants. We have received the Creative Forces grant through the National Endowment of the Arts, a generous donation from the Veteran's United Foundation, a Southern Arts Fund Grant, and several Illinois Arts Council Awards.

 

Now it's time for the local community to support our Veterans. If you have a business or individual who would be interested in supporting our work, please pass this information along. We can be reached at: info@vetsinthearts.org
