Workshop Process:
Being a new musical, each scene needs to be “workshopped” to allow the entire production team to develop the unique look and feel of the show. The writers will also be tweaking the dialogue. Actors cast for this process will be encouraged to develop their characters to help the production team visualize the scenes. The current schedule will be October/November 2024 with approximately 8-12 meetings.
Eight (8) principal actors will be needed and compensated $150 each for their time.
Full Production: June 6-8, 2025
This audition is also part of the process to cast the entirety of the show for full production in 2025. If a full casting of the show does not come from the 2024 auditions, another audition round will be held in January 2025. All actors cast in the full production will receive compensation which is based on role and % of ticket sales.
Auditioning Veterans: If you do not have previous acting experience, please do not let that keep you from auditioning. We have performance arts training available for Veterans interested in on-stage performance!

Volunteers:
We are also seeking volunteers (Veteran or non-Veteran) who would like to help in the production of this local, original musical. Off-stage opportunities include back stage work, set building/painting, costumes, and props. No experience necessary! Volunteers will be needed in 2025. If you are interested in being involved offstage email info@vetsinthearts.org
