Vets in the Arts supports programs and projects in line with our mission:
*To support activities that promote Veterans in the arts.
*To create opportunities for Veterans to express themselves through artistic endeavors.
*To advocate for Veterans in the arts at a local and national level.
Vets in the Arts supports projects and programs in three different ways:
Funding
Our organizations supports programs and projects through direct funding. This includes paying artists, buying supplies, renting facilities, and taking care of other expenses related to the event.
Community
Vets in the Arts is committed to connecting artists with veterans to develop a welcoming community to encourage, equip, and support Veterans as they explore their artistic expression.
Enjoyment
We are dedicated to encourage Veterans to enjoy and support other Veterans creating art. This may be through active participation in the event process or by simply attending and partaking in the event.
